Andrew Hodges is a social and linguistic anthropologist currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research in Zagreb, Croatia. He has just completed a project on Croatian minority (language) activism in Serbia, a PhD analysing the politics of academia in Serbia and Croatia, and is currently writing an ethnography of organised football fans as a social movement in Zagreb.
